PSSC Meeting and Elections
- This event has passed.
The Parent School Support Committee (PSSC) is a group of parents and community members who work in an encouraging, advisory, and collaborative fashion with the School Principal and staff to ensure the best possible learning opportunities for students of their school. Being involved with the PSSC allows you, as a parent, to have an impact and influence in what goes on at your child’s school. It also demonstrates to your child an interest in
their schooling and in your community.
A parent may nominate him/herself for a PSSC position. A parent may also nominate another person who is eligible as a candidate. Nominations may be submitted to the Principal in advance of the meeting or submitted from the floor at the time of the PSSC election.
Contact your school’s Principal at melissa.richardson2@nbed.nb.ca if you are interested in becoming involved or would like more information on PSSC elections and the work of PSSC in your school.
